My husband and I have been married for 5 years. Today is our wedding anniversary. We have never celebrate it before. But I think 5 years maybe different, that's not a short time.
And I heard someone said 5 years is a Wood wedding. What is it meaning? Is that means dangerous? Because I think wood is easy to catch fire.
Do I need buy a gift for my husband? Or invite him go for a dinner? Actually I am not sure he remember this day or not. But I hope he remembered.
How about yours wedding anniversary? Do you celebrate it or not? And what about the other wedding years' meaning?

My wife and I all remember the date when we married. But we haven't celebrate it. We even don't celebrate each other's birthday, Valentine's Day, and the other important days. We just think life is simple. We don't need to do somethings to show if we really love each other.

My husband and I have always bought each other an anniversay gift then we usually go out to dinner. With Valentines the day after our anniversary and my birthday a couple days after that I end up with quite a bit.
Congratulations on your 5 years. My husband and I just had our 10 year on the 13th. Yes we did get married on Friday the 13th.

We not only celebrate our anniversary every year, but we celebrate it monthly also. We were married on October 31, 2000 and every month since then we go our on the last day of the month for dinner and he gets me flowers. Since you are Asian, you probably have different customs than North Americans do, but, yes, it is nice to celebrate the anniversaries that are the 5, 10, 20, etc. years. Wooden anniversary only means that wood is what you get for someone who has that anniversary. It can be anything made of wood. My husband got me a wooden clock on our "Wood" anniversary. I hope your husband remembers. Maybe you can leave him some hints.

My husband and I don't celebrate our wedding anniversary other than with a hug and a kiss, and wishing each other a happy anniversary. Neither of us are into making a big deal for our special day so it works out just fine for us. :)
We just had our 13th anniversary a few days ago. :)

Well I am happy for you and wish you more wedding anniversary to come! I am sorry I am not familiar with those corresponding name for it like wood, silver or what. But we do celebrate our anniversary every year. It will really depend on the budget as to what we do. Our last celebration was very simple, we just went to a fancy restaurant and had fine dining. We have been married for seven years already and maybe by the next anniversary we can go on a vacation.
