i bought ASUS laptop 2 days ago. Im wondering if anyone could give me some ideas on how to utilize my laptop.

utilise? or optimise? What's the specs of your laptop and what OS is it using? Last but not least, what are you intending to use it for? Without giving any details, its hard for people to provide any relevant suggestion to help you

specs of Asus: 512mb OS is linux I am planning to buy an internal hardisk so i cud use different OS. is it possible? Actuall I bought it because its very affordable and hand carry. Im on a field work always & i do my paper works outside office a lot of time. & i am also very fond of downloading videos & movies.

Sounds like what you have bought is the "eee PC", am I correct? If so I'm afraid there isn't alot you can do with it, except basic web surfing, and maybe running office or productivity apps.

you can download movie but i dont think it will go fast and i suggest you sell that on ebay and get a better one

for low priced laptops the best you can usually expect from them is basic word processing, web access, watching dvds etc. really depends what you want to do on the machine. if it was cheap you wont be playing new games etc i imagine
