Tonight. i'm in the shower, i'm thirsty, So i take a mouthful of water from the showerhead, and to my surprise, the water from this tap tastes 10 times better then the water from the kitchen tap... Have you ever noticed this difference in taste in your house? or is it just in mine? Or am i just going crazy?

ok, so I got through the first line of your convo...and immediately I think...BLECH!!!!!!
I can't stand tap water from ANY tap, anywhere, any time..lol. I am however a brave soul, so I shall drink water from your shower while I'm there just for the experience..lol.
As for your last question, ummm...hunny, I hate (ok, so I do however LOVE IT) but we'll say I hate to be the one to tell you, but you've lost your pretty marbles long ago..lol.

haha..well they do say that small things amuse small minds...and your marbles might've been shiny and pretty, but they were mighty small..hehe.
And yes, I do indeed know that I also insulted myself...another hazardous effect of being naturally blonde :P

hheh At the place where i lived when i first moved to this town, her milk in the kitchen was NASTY, but the bathroom tap water was amazingly better.. I mean it was still gross, cause the building was really old.. like built when the town was founded type thing. lol so the plumbing was nasty, but for some reason worse int he kitchen then bathroom!

Yeeeurrghh! Unless your plumbing is very different from ours sis then it would taste different - the water from a shower or bath is not supposed to be drank - it is not as clean or safe to drink as tap water - it doesn't go through as many filters etc! I sure hope you don't get a craving for water out of the shower sweet sis! xxx

I don't think you are crazy at all. There may be rusty pipes leading to your kitchen tap which would totally effect the tast of the water. I haven't tried the water in my house because we have unacceptable levels of arsenic in our city water, so I just drink bottled H2O.

Well, water does travel through different pipes and other different metals to get to places in your home. Your shower head does have different builds up from minerals in water. Your tap in your kitchen is stainless steal. All taste come from what the water comes in contact before reaching your mouth. I really wouldn't suggest drinking shower water. The crap that builds in shower heads is nasty. Just wait till the showers over to get a drink.

If I could just add one thing here even in the kitchen sink that little aerator will get lots of gunk and build up. I have to clean out mine occasionally.

Honey its mostly calcium and lime, and it gets dislodged from the insides of the pipe and will stop up your aerator. So much depends on if your water in your area is hard or soft, and what kind of minerals it contains. We happen to live in a hard water area. Most of the people that have well water heavily filtrate it because of sulfur and other hard water minerals :))
Rotflmao I swear you spook your self :)))

okay guys, thanks, i'll never drink out of either again!! haha usually i dont drink tap water, but i HAVE drank from the kitchen before, but just by pure dumbluck decided to try the showerhead tonight. hah.
Angel, if that.. thingyabobber your talking about gets GUNK on it.. and you clean it, isn't it pointless, cause the rest of the pipes would have that gunky stuff too wouldnt it ?

The only thing I can figure you pregnant nut case is that mayb the plumbing is different. Maybe copper on one end and PVC on the other? Hell I don't know... Ya goof! My tap water tastes the same all over the house :))) LMAO

The first thing I did when I moved into the house I live in now was tried water from all the sinks I was surprised to find that the water in my upstairs bathroom tastes better than the water from my kitchen sink too.
You aren't crazy. I'm sure it has something to do with the pipes or something. :)

You're not crazy...at least not any crazier than the rest of us. (smile)
At my house I like the water from the bathroom faucet more than from the kitchen. Perhaps because the bathroom is closer to the basement so there's probably less piping to go through. -Tink

Just yours. the only time tap water tastes different to me is when I drink water is different parts of the country where water can be harder or softer depending where I am.
