Lol...I just realized that ur only 17. I think I may have misinformed u about my board. When I said girls, I did mean girls. but I was talking about us ladies that are married with children or grandchildren.

Hi.. First of all let me know where do you belong to? And for what purpose do you want to make a site? Actually i know some sites which provide free domains or i should say sub-domains to make your sites and then later on you can rename them through another site..i had uploaded my site for the same purpose of earning money online and it does work.. but i got selfish and made some illegal moves which banned my account. Though the site still works but it does not earn me money anymore.. So i can tell you the steps or if wou want to try yourself..then try this site.. 50webs.com.. You can try to make your own blog thru blogspot.com...I have seen that working if you want to earn money.. even i had earned around 30 $ b4 it got banned but the payout is done only when you reach 100$.. My friend earns around 200$ per month by the same way.. So do let me know what actually you are interested in..i mean for what purpose are you making teh site.. .. would be in a better position to help you then..

i don't really belong anywhere.
im making a site just for funsies.
but im going to have links to freebie sites and ways to make money online.
i tried siging up for geocities, but it wouldn't work
so i just signed up for angelfire.

But lots of adverts which will be quite annoying.
I have my own blog of (www.theburjalalam.com)
and I also provide Domain registration and hosting services....ON yearly packages which are cheaper than monthly.

Hi Barbi,
Yes. I use myspace. It is free, and so populated. It has lost its thrill for me however. I used to spend a lot of time there, but I have a lot of real life friends there and that is why I started it anyway. It gives you a lot of experience in creating your own webpage. You can add all sorts of stuff. Mine has a lot of my interests on it. (Betty Boop, music, slideshows, a blog, and you can post bulletins.) You just don't get paid.
I have been liking this better. I will be using my myspace now to just stay in touch with my friends and trade Betty Boop pics.

Hello there. :) I got my own website.. tons of them! All are uploaded through FTP clients (which I prefer because I use .php files). Try UrbanRoxy.com or FreeWebTown.com. I've been hosted by those sites before. UrbanRoxy lets you upload through FTP Clients while FreeWebTown has its own file uploader.

I think it's worth paying for a domain. Of course, I say that, because that is what I did. lol.
I don't know much about how to go about getting a site, because I had a friend do it all for me. He built the site for me as well, via his business www.geekwebsites.net
My website is www.chocolatecakeday.ca and is all about being thankful for the children in our lives, in memory of my son who passed away in 2000.
