dealing with friends

Do you have friends that you try to help, but no matter what you do they seem to keep making the same mistakes? what do you do to deal with the situation?

Yes, I do have such friends, sometimes I do get bugged at them. But I still try to help them out, after all they are my friends...

i agree that no matter what a friend should always help another friend, but at what point do you just say screw it and let them learn the hard way?

If they make such mistakes again and again, may be they're habitually sick of doing so. In that case, nothing can be done except reminding them to correct the mistake as and when they make it. I do have some such friends and I believe in keeping my cool and act as aforesaid, some day they may realise their mistakes and might change. :)
