I'm kinda bummed......

Well I'm sure you're feeling a little better now after all these responses! I'm glad you're getting the hang of how things work. You will have more days like that but we've all been there too so you're not alone. Keep up the great work and we love you too!

I think a lot of weather a lot of people reply or only a few sometimes doesn't even depend on how good the discussion is!! I think sometimes its a lot to do with timing!! Like i find early morning here, and JUST as i'm getting ready to go to bed its much more lively here! I guess through the day a lot of people are busy with their lives, going to work, house work, busy with their kids! hehe. Somedays i dont make it here either, so i understand.

It takes time to get used to things here and most people post twice. Also the way to get someone to respond on your discussions is to get a many friends as possible. The reason is that at least one or two will answer your posts. The secret is to try to get the friends on your main interests since this is usually where you directing your posts. And sometimes the discussions are not as lively and exciting on some days as they are on others. As they say, this too shall pass.

I have felt the same way many times over. I find a short break away from mylot helps me and also letting friends know that I have unanswered discussions usually gets them answered. It just takes a few to get the ball rolling and if noone else responds after a month I give that friend the best response mark and move on.

I'm glad you are enjoying your myLot experience, marilynlynn, and, no, I have never felt like crawling under a rock, lol. None of us has a good day everyday. We just have to take them as they come and make the best of them all.

Stop being so hard on yourself! I'm sure your discussions aren't stupid, anyway stupid is a very subjective term especially here on myLot. One person's "stupid" is another's brilliant, stimulating discussion and vice versa so don't give that a thought. I've never been able to figure out why some of my discussion which I had very high hopes for get few or no responses while those I just post for the heck of it get dozens. As for posting a discussion twice accidentally - don't worry, been there, done that - sh1t happens! Annie

There are days when I am so excited to be on the lot and then there are days when I need a brake I think that you need to decide if you just need a brake take a day off from the lot to refresh yourself and get new ideas so that whe you come back the next day you at least have a discussion about what you did on your day off of mylot and from there you'll see that the day off gave you time to think of a great many discussions. take care ..

I have also posted a discussion twice and funny enough both get responses but I don't like that Idea. That is a common mistake. I also sometimes worry when my discusions don't get responses and ask myself it they were just dumb. But people here sometimes respond to even the dumbest discussion. Maybe the time you are online posting discussions most of mylotters are offline. it also depends on the time.

Welcome & we all have days like that. At least I do. But honestly MyLot is awesome and when you log in and see your earnings going up its such a nice feeling!

I've definitely been there and done that! I've embarrassed myself so many times. Priceless. I hate it, though! I'm definitely going to have to check out all of your discussions only for the fact that you think they might be stupid! (LOL) I'm sure they aren't, though. Sometimes it takes time for responses to build up on your discussions. Some people don't comment on responses, which is irritating. I always comment on responses left for my discussions. I figure people took the time to respond to my discussion, so I might as well take the time to comment on their response. You can really get into some good and deep conversations that way! I can definitely relate to everything you addressed in this discussion, though. Keep up the good work and I wish you the best of luck here on myLot, my friend!

don't worry too much. there are many whose discussions don't get responded too. it's most likely because people are not interested in them. only some will respond. it's the same with me too. thus, i don't really post too many discussions. so long as you get people who are interested in your topics, then that should be ok rather than having people who just want to earn money and post responses of little value. i too have similar problems so you're not the only one. take care

Some days I get bored on here, other days there's stuff going on and I have a fine time on here. The MyLot digest subscription I have helps a lot, and I'm better able to find interesting discussions because of it. Do you subscribe to the digest?

Hang in there. You are not alone in this. I have come up with discussions that do not get comments or responses. I just go on. It is not worth worrying about. Some people are interested in, others they are not. It is just one of those things sometimes.

I've posted alot of discussions that no one has responded to. I always felt that maybe the discussions were not dumb enough LOL. So now I only discuss what other people post.

I guess it is true missery loves company because I feel much better now knowing someone else feels the same way sometimes. I actually don't mind it so much when I post a discussion that isn't interesting to anyone but it does hurt when I post something more personal or from the heart and no one answers. It actually has not happened often but it has and I still feel the sting! I will get over it and so will you! Keep your chin up and keep writing for the fun and love of it. Blessings!
