Is windows xp Service Pack 3 good?

Windows XP Service Pack 3(SP3) is the final Windows XP service pack, a collection of previously-released fixes and product enhancements, as well as a few new features that are unique to this release. Windows XP Service Pack 3 will not include any major new features, but it will include four minor new features that improve the system's reliability and security. Contrary to reports, Microsoft has been very up-front about these functional additions for quite some time now. I think it is not yet stable until it leaves the final version.

Service packs are issued by Microsoft, in one way they call it as security upgrade...In other way its a headache. Take an example of SERVICE Pack 2, every latest software now needs it..But sometimes it gives problems when installing,first takes lots of space and slows down your PC... Second there were lots of issues in which many things didnt work out when SP2 was installed. So I would say that if you dont need SP3 urgently, than just leave it outside...Dont go even near it ! Final verision's estimated release is at the en of March 2008.(Esrimate only). Be paitient, most improvements are usually made in the very last second.

for this,i dont think that SP3 will do any harm the only thing its really going to do is install internet explorer 7. if you dont have anything against it or arent fussy about your web browser then its nothingto be worried about, though some people dont like it. id just go ahead and install it personally.
