Hello kate0250. I too dont like eating liver. I also dont like eating or even think of tasting dogs, frogs or other animals other than poultry, cow and pigs. I can't even stand eating those animals. I also dont like eating intestines of animals.

You said it. I loose my appetite whenever I see animal intestines.

I can't stand peas!!!! I cook them for my family but only my husband eats them.
My grandfather, who had a farm, would eat them raw right out in the field. He said they tasted like peanuts. I can't even imagine it. My grandmother even created a Sweet Pea Cake for him and every summer she was in the paper with it. Everyone liked it, I wouldn't even try it. She didn't put them in the cake just between the layers and on the icing.
When I was a kid my father had to have all the meat prepared well-done and it was like eating hockey pucks. LOL I learned how to appreciate meat once he passed away when I could have it medium, it is so juicy that way.

Really fat pieces of meat, particularly pork.
Raw onions.
Other than that I can handle most things if they are not so spicy.

I like my steak medium. It's dangerous to eat beef cooked rare because it might contain parasitic eggs.
I once tried sushi (raw fish). I didn't like it.
I have tried dinuguan (pig blood). If done properly it tastes great.
I don't ever want to try balut, rats, dogs, frogs, snakes.

Sweetcorn. I think it's utterly disgusting. The thought of a mouthful of it makes me feel so queasy. I remember being told to sit at the table until I'd finished it and I'd just stay there stubbornly for hours until bedtime, refusing to touch the stuff. The body doesn't even digest it! It's a pointless vegetable!
I also have sort of a phobia of eggs. The smell of cooked eggs makes me wretch quite violently.

I don't think there is a vegetable that I don't like. I love raw veggies! Asparagus is really good raw, but it has to be good asparagus, not the ugly giant ones grown in some places. Fish, beef, pork, chicken...cook it done. I can't stand the thought of raw meat. I am definitely NOT eating sushi. That's just nasty. Bugs and worms that some people think are cool to eat? Not.
And what makes me even sicker is people who eat animals NOT meant to be food...like dogs and cats. I really wish they would die from it. All of these people have enough land to grow their own vegetables and to raise their own meats. This is such a cruel and sick practice. Don't even get me started. And for those who say it is cultural...it isn't. They steal their own neighbors pets to eat, too. I just think it is gross and cruel.

I absolutely love food and love to prepare it, but you could say I am a picky eater when it comes to some things. Like you I don't eat rare meats or raw fish as in sushi.
I won't eat any innards - never, no liver, kidneys, tongue, tripe. I won't eat any hot dogs or sausages unless I have no choice. I don't eat cold cuts of any kind unless they are made of whole meats such as smoked meat, cooked ham, chicken or turkey. I don't eat certain rice dishes in ethnic restaurants that contain little shrimps and other seafood creatures. I don't like goat meat and would not eat rabbit or guinea pig ( they do in some part of South America) but I do eat bison and deer and there is not a vegetable that I would not eat. I love them all. Picky, picky?
I also don't eat stinky cheeses like Limburger.

I don't think there is a food I don't eat or not like. But then I am sure I have not eaten everything there is, so the things I haven't eat, I can't comment on. But I will eat pretty much anything. I like my beef a little more on the rare side but not blood running rare. I like my chicken and pork and fish well done, although now they are saying you can eat pork a little on the raw side. I love liver especially when coated with flour, then dipped in egg and then dipped in bread crumbs. But my liver has to be well done. I can't eat it rare. I have to eat my fish cooked although lots of people like suchie (spelled wrong) which is raw fish, but not me. I like to try different foods because I get tired and bored of the regular meat and potatoes and vegetables. So I am always looking for a new recipe. I made, on Sunday, on new recipe I found of curry spare ribs and it was delicious.
