As for the rebate processing, I've been looking, but I'm still really skeptical. It seems there are way too many "offers" that keep coming for that one. Online courses can be tricky. Most medical billing courses will teach you, but you need to get "re-taught" by each company you work for. The companies that offer job placement will usually only do it if you get "certified" through them. They need to make their money. Proofreading... this is definitely a legit opportunity, if you go the right route. First off, like most other jobs, you need to realize you should not "pay" to get a job. If they ask for a percentage of your earnings from the job you get through their services, that is another deal and totally legitimate. I proofread on occasion for oDesk.
