I love the Florida Keys more than Hawaii...why do people spend money on Hawaii?

I like Florida better, too, but my favorite beach is Mazatlan and it is a bit closer in some ways. Some of the California beaches are great, too, but not as warm as I'd like.

I have been to Hawaii and found that the sea was too rough to swim in but the palm fringed beaches were very beautiful. It was sod but interesting to go to Pearl Harbor. I found Hawaii to be very expensive and next to flew on to much cheaper Fiji and Australia. I haven't been to Florida yet but think I would really like it there and that it would be more affordable than another trip to Hawaii. I would like to see some of the palm fringed beaches like St Petersburg. It would be fun to go to Key West. I would like to go to Disney World as well. I know that it is very large and so I might need a few days there. One of my friends went to Miami and he described it as New York by the beach!
