The Bible is our guide in how we are to conduct our lives. Of course, that means one not only read it, but study it, practice it, apply it and live by it.

I don't fully agree to the acronym given above. The Bible is not a book of instructions or a ticket to transport us to another world. Yes, the Bible is indeed the Word of God for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that we can be equipped for every good work. It also reveals God's work in the creation of the universe,how humanity fell, his work of redemption and the hope of consummation of the entire creation, not just the personal saving of the soul

For me, holy bible is my "map" in this questionable world... Its always relevant, and its the best book i ever read. You want to learn history, political science, moral and immoral, life perspective, how to be rich, how to be successful person, arts, science, literature, quotes, poems, inspired books... they are complete only in one book, and its very affordable. No regret!!! You buy a map to heaven!!!

myconscience, There is no doubt that if you adhere to the good moral stories, heaven is a must for you. But if you try out just one of the wicked stories you can't miss hell. Therefore, since it is a book with good and bad, it is unwise to call it Holy

i love the bible because it provides me the strength and the inspiration when im down and weary.Gods promises help me see face life no matter how difficult and frustrating it is.His words brings hope and comfort to my troubled soul.

The Holy Bible is the only complete book of life and that is why i call it God's manual for us, everything created by man has a manual so a life working/walking outside the manual is a life working/walking outside the creator's (God) instruction.I love my Bible.

I like the bible because it comforts and helps me through troubles, and there is always hope in the bible; for god our father loves like a good father should so we have nothing to worry about, this is very good because the bible and our father gives us good things so don't be bad. Amen
