apart from attractive salary and benefits packages, what else do you look for in a job?
are you happy in your present job? if not, why?

I believed everyone is in for a job to earn the income to pay bills etc.
There is only 10% of the population that work for the fun of it but don't really need the money.
I am very depressed in my job.
What attracts me to a job I believe is the room for growth and an employer who understand and know what it is like to be a working mother full time job and kids.
An employer that trust you when you say you have to take your daughter in for a dr's appt because she is sick.
I used to work for a company that paid very little but I was pretty happy with them. Then I got too tired of working long hours and left. Well I was very disappointed with my decision because I am now at a new company and I have the 9-5 but there is no warmth in the air. I am take lots of grief for taking an hour for a doctor's appt or something urgent for my family.
So needless to say, I prefer to work for a company that pays less but have and believe in family values. Because at the end that goes a long way.

I love my job. Yes the salary and benefits package is great but I love that I am able to help people every day. I may not necessarily like the company I work for but I love my role in it.
