How does it feel? When it's the right one, you share everything - sometimes, even the toothbrush. Planning on living together? Forget privacy. Have something you really want to do? You'll have to discuss it with the "Sig. Other." Feel like really connecting? Be prepared to compromise on just about everything. You'll have to deal with the Sig. Other's moods, as well as your own. Other than that, it is a wonderful thing. :)
Don't forget you are an individual, don't give up your friends, and do things separately to maintain your identity.

Don't worry, it is not problem at all and you've mentioned that you want to experience this kind of world, so get prepare physically and mentally. Every action, there will be reaction. So, you must accept the beauty and the awful of it. The happiness and sadness, must be tough enough to face all this kind of new world to you.
Yeah, hopefully you can do it, peacefully and harmony.

How does it feel...well if the relationship is healthy, strong and mutually satisfying it feels great. If it is controlling, manipulative, unhealthy...then it feels AWFUL.
I am happily married to my life and business partner and we live and work from home and spend a lot of time together. Our relationship works because we have respect for each other...and do give each other space when we need it. We handle differences as they come up and are willing to be accountable when either one of us is out of line. We live with the idea that in openness there is trust...and in trust there is love.
We work as life coaches and group leaders and assist others in developing healthy relationships where both partners thrive rather than just survive. I must say though any meaningful relationship takes a lot of self-honesty and a measure of independence. The best way to attract a healthy relationship is to have a healthy relationship with yourself first. No one can ever fill us up if we feel empty on the inside...that is our work to do.
So that is what it feels like...from my perspective.
