What is the defination of 'success' in your life?

Too often we measure the standards of success by the education we have attained, how much money we have, how big is our house, and the material things we own. But for me, the true success can only be measured through the good things we have done for others.

Hi Friends --- Success to me is not acheivable everytime you accomplish a task or you achieve a goal ur desire expands and you want to go to the next level ...success is like a ladder that never ends everytime you reaches the last step you realize that there is yet another step to go -- If you think about the most successful peoples in the world like bill gates or michael dell we think that they are successful but ask them they will say -- hey there is a lot more to come

It always meeting my target at the end of the day. Also it is ability to achieve what i really wanted to achieve in my life.its called success. At the end of the day its also my success in living the life for taht day if I can bring a=smile to the faces of the people i encounter that day. its more important.

I think my definition of success is at the end of the day I can roll over and go to sleep with out having to think about what went on, or wrong with my day. I am finding as I age that I enjoy my life more and worry less, as I have learned through personal experience that worry never solved one of my problems, facing them and taking action does.

Success in life for me, means finish something with "good result" and "on-time". Its something that bring achievement for the next project to be more successful. It should bring happiness, proud, and feeling "great" that you already do and finish it!

I am now a retired accountant. I am a firm believer of budgets. To explain success in life one has to be a firm believer of budgets, I do not mean financial ones only, I mean in every aspect of your life. The common word is goals. The budgets you set have to be reasonable and achievable. The variation from actuals have to be POSITIVE. This is how one determines whether your life has been good, bad or indifferent.

Success in my life would be to pay off my bills, provide food on the table for my family each day and live in peace and happiness. That is so hard to achive but it sounds so good and easy to do.

Success related to personal issues, it gives happiness to a small circle (yourself and family)but getting success while doing something for others the circle is bigger and the waves of happiness keep coming more and more. In the circle, Almight would also join. As far as the animals are concerned, they take care their own self and utmost their kins. We are definitely better than them. I don't consider success in material ways. If I can make someone smile who is down I feel as successful as if I had a million dollars to my name. Also completing a task that has been especially hard gives me a sense of being successful. If I can help a person come through a hard time that they are having I feel successful. These are the things that give me a being of successful.

Definition of success.. well it depends. For me a successful day is when I get to the end of the day and feel proud of myself for what I was able to accomplish, for how I was able to be me and follow my own values. Success in life would be pretty much the same with maybe a few things added. Like the feeling that I have committed to my family and helped each one of us be the best we can be. Materially speaking, success for me would be the ability to live with what I have, and be able to have the necessary for my life to be comfortable and without stress.Professionally, would mean that I have been able to use my potential with integrity and fairness, and that I did my best to achieve whichever goals I had set to myself. A successful life can be many things, but all have to do with how I feel with myself - at least in my opinion.

Hi deepak Success is term used when u accomplish goals either set by urself or by other for u. it may be short term, it may be long term, but to me success is only when u achieve ur target while staying in the limits designed by society, ethics and relegion and ur feel satisfied innerself. My Idea of success is doing what I have set out to do in life and to end up with the kind of partner that I want.

Success to me is attempting and attaining something. It can be big or small, material or non-material. To say a word of hope to the hopeless, to bring a smile to the sad, to help someone who can never repay you, going an extra mile for somebody is I think to be successful which give one real satisfaction which is eternal. Material success which is not shared is meaningless.
