are you using vinegar as a home made cleaner? / myLot

I just read some discussions on the internet that they are using vinegar as a homemade cleaner... is it effective? is someone here tried it already? can i use sugar cane vinegar?

I use vinegar at home for all kind of stuff. I dilute it with water as a surface cleaner, put baking soda, then vinegar and hot water down the drain to unclog them and even use vinegar and baking soda to clean the toilets.

I have just started using it as a cleaner and putting a little in my washing after reading some posts here, I did read that it was tested to be the best thing to use cleaning kitchen benches, it gave the best result in killing bacteria....
