i beg to disagree with you...cuz even they are true friends; they are still have
the chances to change....remember, nothing last forever...even best test friends, best friends or even ur own blood (brothers/sisters)..there things that will come that will make them turn their backs on you.

I have a friend who is a friend for me for the past 20 years. On the course of time though we have become family friends, still I could proudly say that he is my true friend and he always stands up for me whenever I am in need of or when someone tries to hurt me physically or verbally. If you think I am talking about DH, no I know him only for the past 10 years, but this friend of mine is a true friend and I am so happy that I have him as my friend.

Thats it, that is what I am looking for. I beleive heartily that real friends are there. Congrats and remember that you too have to work hard to keep this relationship everlasting.

oh really! thanx for your very clever and too much practical advice. But my dear, how can I do that when I have a number of real friends in my life. Yes, I have some friends who are with me for zero interest.
