i know this is one of those questions that has no real answer - but who would you say is the best Liverpool player of all time?
Personally I would go for Kenny Dalgleish, as he was a great player and player/manager. A truely skillful player and could set up goals as well as make them

In my opinion I would pick Ian Rush as Liverpool's greatest player of all time. His goalscoring prowess is unmatched. He is all-time highest Liverpool goalscorer with 346 goals in all competitions, He was the first player to pick up 5 League Cup winners medals, he was the second top goalscorer in League football for Liverpool with 229 goals, behind Roger Hunt, he is joint record holder fot League Cup goalscorer with 49 goals (48 for Liverpool), shared with Sir Geoff Hurst and best of all, he hold the record for Merseyside derby goalscorer with 25 goals for Liverpool against arch-rival Everton. With records like that, I strongly believe he is the greatest.

Rush was a truely great striker, but Kenny scored goals, set Rush up and then became player manager.
