I guess so. having a mobile allows you to keep in touch with anybody you like. To some people, mobile phones are a part of their lives already. They spent almost 24 hours a day on the phone, and their phone rings non stop etc. nowadays people don't have landlines anymore because of mobile phones, and with the current technology there are just so many features in a mobile phone which makes people can't part with it even more- camera, music player, radio, web browser etc.

LOL Bluepatch that is quite true. Remembering to switch it off sometimes is important, to communication with those you are with sometimes. It can really distract and ruin some private moments. I agree that it is a very necessary and useful tool, however cell phone users as a whole sometimes need polite reminders on edicate. For example, not talking on it, when they are being served in a restaurant, store, etc. Always remember that the person standing right in front of you deserves respect and needs to be addressed politely first. Talking on a cell phone can be hazzardous while driving as well. Let the cell phone serve its purpose when there is no danger involved physically or to a person
s dignity ie remember your manners! Like everything else, in summation, cell phones are great used in the proper times and places!

Not just for all those whom you have mentioned, but also for parents who are living alone. Cell phone allows them to keep in touch with their kids and near and dear ones whenever needed. More over they could carry it everywhere and it helps in case of emergency also.
I suggest all the cell phone users to have emergency numbers stored under the ICE (In case of Emergency) group.

Its the most convenient way of contacting someone who is not actually with you and a tremendous asset to business. You just have to remember to switch it off when eating, talking intimately or watching something you don't want to be interrupted with. Its great for communication and horrible if you want privacy. Unless you can remember when to switch it off.
