Would You Like An Extra Body Part Sir? Madam?

My discussions were getting a little morose so I thought hey why not brighten them up with a comical one, remember the Limbs R Us? Discussion I created a while back, well that went down really well and I got a lot of great responses as always, so here we go again! Sitting comfortably? Then Wolfie will begin Ok you have all your body parts and everything is where it should be and you are given a choice you are allowed ONE extra body part, it can be absolutely anything What would you choose? Two hearts? If one breaks down you have got the other one to fall back on (like Doctor Who he has two hearts) An extra leg? handy if you want to run the marathon An extra arm, you could be cuddling your loved one and the other arm could be doing something else! An extra eye which you could put at the back of your head so when someone asks you if you have got eyes in the back of your head, you can surprise them by saying YES! I have An extra brain? But would you make full use of it? Or can you come up with another body part you would love a spare one off? Wolfie can think of something, but it's rather rude and I would hate for me to be dirty or naughty, but I know what I'd like an extra one off, but I'm too gentlemanly and polite to say so xxxx So sir? madam, what can I supply you with?

With an extra willy, Wolfie, you'd be even more of a force to be reckoned with! But I'd rather like to see that...... I think I'd have to agree with Ms.Puppycheese on both counts - losing some of that holiday (yeah, right, but it's a good excuse so I'm using it) extra poundage, and I'd also like to have a third eye - I've always said I need a rear view mirror attached to myself, and an extra eye would make all the difference in the world! Just imagine how shocking that would be - to have a hidden eye on the back of your head. I'd love it! Great discussion, as always, Wolfie, darlin!

I would have to go with the extra heart, wolfie, because everyone knows the heart is probably the hardest working part of the body. If I had an extra heart, then one could rest for a bit while the other one could take over. I'm sure I would have much more energy and not get tired so easily. Also, the extra heart would allow me to love that many more people!

For me it would be a liver. Unfortunately, mine is not in the best of shape and one day I just might need that spare. After all if the first one goes, you are kind of s#$t out of luck. LOL. Its one of your parts that doesn't come in duplicate.

Think I've sussed what extra bit you mean, I suppose you could put the extra one through your up and coming examination so the real one wouldn't have to suffer! Me I would choose an extra kidney so I could give one to my cousin who needs it and still be able to enjoy a good drink... (they won't let me I'm not a match but the thoughts there) so next on the list would be lips cos I'm always getting told I talk too much so better have a spare pair in case I get lost for words....... Ellie :D

Oh dear this is a tough one. If I had to chose one extra body part I would probably chose an extra heart. There are alot of heart problems in my family so it would be nice to have one kicking around in case it comes in handly. If I need one then I have one to take over or if someone in my family needs one I can donate it to them for a transplant if they need one. Oh wolfie, I am sure you will have half the girls here in a tizzy thinking about your two body parts. Actually, having two female parts would not be such a bad idea! My mind is running wild with thoughts of what one can do with two "personal parts" Oh dear me.

No need to be rude Love, as a matter of fact My VaJay Jay is still in excellent shape so I will not be asking of Wolfie a new one. Now what is really needed is a new eye. I will settle for only one as I think one good eye at this point is better then the 2 I have at this minute. Here is the dilemma I have. From birth I was near sighted, okay not a problem glasses correct that as do contacts. I wore contacts nearly my entire life and I was content with that. Now about 8 years ago my astigmatism worsened and I had no choose but to wear glasses again.... okay still no problem Now dag nabit I have to wear bifocals cause I can not see up close of far away... Chit my arms don't know whether to lengthen or draw in close... i look like a push me pull me when trying to read !!!! Give me one good eye!

I think I would like to have one more eye. So that I can see things with wider range. Besides, I am near-sighted. If I had one more eye, perhaps my eyesight would be better:)

Ha ha, Wolfie, Well, at least I was just talking about it with family today before I read your posting. I was thinking about having an extra finger or two on each hand. Our hands are like amazing things that is what makes us so independent and able to make things over other animals (poor things, though they can of course climb well if they have claws, or hunt for their own food, I suppose). But anyway, with more fingers, if they all work well, and you were a violinist, you'd probably agree that it may be easier, not having to shift up and down so much like crazy. Our concert last night had hectic shirts and stretching fingers. Would be a lot easier. And I'm sure we could find many other things too. I'm not sure how much I'd want more organs. Would have to think about it, but wiht more organs, that'd probably put me at more chance of them breaking down or getting a virus, etc. ;o)

This discussion definitely required some thought. It made me chuckle as well! I really like your more comical discussions. I know my response is probably not what you're looking for or expecting, but it's just how I feel right now! I don't believe I would add an extra body part. I might add to more of the existing organs I have (LOL), but I don't think I'd add an extra body part altogether. I'd actually like to lose a body part...my thyroid. Without a thyroid, I wouldn't have a thyroid problem! (LOL) My metabolism is too fast and I can't gain weight, so I want to rip my thyroid right out of my throat sometimes! I think that would solve the majority of my health problems, to tell you the truth. I like this discussion a lot because it actually made me think! I'm at work now, so I don't usually have to do much thinking...just kidding. (LOL) Thanks for the challenge to come up with a good response on this one!

I would definately want an extra brain. That way I could use one for day to day existance and knowing and keeping track of all of the things that are required.. and the other one would be just for fun and enjoyment of life. I'd use the extra one for all of the things that I don't need to know, but WANT to know. Of course I'd have to be able to switch back and forth easily over the course of the day LOL P.S. would you use your extra "part" on one person or two? If you have a significant other I would think that one through more thoroughly if I were you LOL

I will ask for another brain, so I can think differently and discuss within my two brains so I'll come up with the right decision. I will no longer asks for opinions then. But i can resolve my problems within my own two brains.
