we just ate there the food was gross,i called them and told them about the food and they said ok and then hung up.that was so rude!

Certainly was rude. If you had complained when you were at the restaurant things might have been a bit different though. They will always take you more seriously when you are standing in front of them than if you call later. You might even have received a free meal. The answer now of course is don't go back, don't recommend them and don't put up with poor service again.
