Life on other planets

We are a small planet living on the edge of the Milky Way Galaxy.
To get from one end of our Galaxy to the other would take around 200,000 light years, travelling at 180,000 miles a second the speed of light.
Do you believe that there are other planets in our Milky Way, and in outer space with life on them ?
