What Do You Like to Write?

For me, it's "WHO I like to write about" I always write poems about the love of my life, and I blog a lot too. I write about how our day went and the new things I've discovered to love about him. ;)

I write poetry and science fiction. I also like blogging.

Initially I was just a story teller. That's all I ever wanted to do was make up and write stories. I added poetry to my repertoire. I never thought I'd be able to write short stories because I tell long stories. LOL! But with the help of a couple of workshops I have found myself writing short stories and actually enjoying it. Then I said I am not a journalist; I cannot write articles. That is not me. But since starting publishing my work on Triond.com I found that articles make more money than fiction or poetry so I forced myself to write some articles. I can do it but it's still not my thing. I also have beween writing in a journal since my first creative writing class in grade 10. We had to keep a journal as part of the curriculum. I've been keeping one ever since. I have a huge plastic storage bin filled with all my journals. In fact, it's time I got another one because I won't be able to put the lid on soon. My biggest problem is deadlines and getting work done. I like to write for pleasure but when I feel I HAVE to write (and/or edit), it's not so enjoyable.

I like to write random poems and sometimes short stories. But since until now I still have the writer's block I cannot make up a story to write at the moment. My favorite genre are romance, mystery, suspense, fiction and non-fiction.

It is good. Expressing one's feeling in poetry is appreciable. In india some singers use to chat like music songs. Others will also enjoy it.

I have always written poetry and I did write some short stories but they were all a bit dark and macabre. Now I enjoy writing articles for Helium and for my own blog. I have just joined MyLot because I spend a lot of time in forums and I like to post in some of them. I am hoping MyLot will inspire me to write a lot more.

I like to write journals on how I am feeling. I also enjoy writing articles on the helium site and get excited when other people rate them.
