Faith has many meanings, or rather many different ways of using the word.
The most common way to see this word be used is when it pertains to religion.
But really how often do we use the word faith about something other than religion? I use faith with relationships, people, animals, and oddly enough also in the weather.
Faith that my partner is being true to me.
Faith that all people have the capacity to believe in someone other than their self.
Faith that animals will never hut me in any way.
And faith that the weather will go the way I want so my plans will never get screwed up.
Just what else is there to have faith about?

For me faith is just when you think you can easily let go of your own conscience for some moments to another ... another ... spirit, let's say...
It's about leting off, not giving up, but "taking a rest" and have some "back-up spirit" there to sustain yours.
Maybe it does not fully define the faith, but it's sure a method to test it! Just try!

Faith is to your country. Faith is to your lover. I remebered the word is to be used in military frequently, it is the basic and also the most important rule in military. You may find it in some movies.
