outrageous hair!!!

Ok, so most of us have done SOMETHING outrageous with our hair at one point or another, so here's your chance to share with the mylot family! I remember going on a big fit about blonde when I was about 14. I was naturally a dirty blonde, so it wasn't going to take much to bleach any color out of my hair and I only wanted it a bit more blonde. One day my bestest friend *grins* and I went to Shoppers and picked out a box of Blondissma (laughing yet Sissy??). We then proceeded to her house, where all of our 'experiments' happened. I didn't know a hell of alot about hair back then so I left on the Blondissma for the full hour *does the hands on face move from Home Alone* So when I rinsed my head out, her and her mom were waiting in the doorway to see the results. I wrapped my head in the towel, and then (this is the most memorable thing of that day)....when I took the towel off, her mom says, "Baby, you're platinum!!!" Oh god..never again..lol. Wasn't a great look at all! Thanks to all for your stories!

lol I think a bad hairdue for me was in the 1980s when I decided I wanted a rat tail. Also the time I dyed my hair blond. My brown hair came back to fast.

Well being a female I kept my hair long but had a small one in the back. I had a friend that had one so I tried it.

I'm sure we could have a giant discussion ourselves about some of the crap we did. Like all the times i convinced you to do try new things, like straight vodka, weeds, and ciggerettes. LOL. or the times out with the older mens. haha. wow. sneaking out of houses.. oh dear. we were the sh1t :)

I am also naturally dish water blonde. We had a pool in our backyard and I wanted to blonde up some. So I wet my hair in the pool and put in some sun-in and layed in the sun to dry and get sexy. My sister came out and started laughing. My hair had turned orange! My mom went to the store and got a box of hair color. She didn't consult me first. She got ash blonde, the same ugly color I was trying to get rid of. She told me I could use the ash blonde or keep it orange, she didn't care. So, I went back to ucky blonde. I don't think I have done anything too outrageous on purpose to my hair. My accidents always turned out scandalously though.

WOW! I can't imagine you with blonde hair at all!! I've got 2 for ya LOL. One is a blonde one too. I got it in my head that I wanted to dye my hair platinum blonde - I was really curious to see if I'd like it. I love Christina Aguliera's & Gwen Stefani's platinum looks so what the hell. I went for it. Only I didn't get the right color nor did I leave it on long enough to achieve the desired effect. It turned out a regular blonde color and I HATED it. I can't even tell you how much that I hated it. I felt ordinary! UGH! It's amazing really how much I hated feeling ordinary. LOL. Well I got a new color that night when I went to work and I fixed it as soon as I got home. The other one was when I decieded to cut all my hair off into a nice cut short cut...Similar to Jenna Elfman's in Dharma & Greg. But just a little shorter. Well the hairdresser should have told me it wouldn't look like I wanted because of my super thin hair. It looked awful...for MONTHS until it grew back out. I def won't be trying that again!! I still have a yearnings to go platinum but I don't know that I'll actually try it any time soon LOL.

LOL...oh dear. I know about your yearnings though...I did my hair bright red a few years back, and believe it or not, I rocked it! lol. I loved it and the majority of ppl I knew or met adored it! I still want it, but seeing as how I'll be 27 soon, it just doesn't seem suitable anymore..lol

I freaking LOVE red hair!! I've had mine about every shade of red - it's my color of choice. I think it looks great on me - as I have some very pale skin. I am wanting to dye it again so badly but my hubby loves me all natural so I'm not to keep him happy. Plus it really is such upkeep dying your hair! LOL
