I had a person tell me that they only wash their bed sheets once every two weeks. That surprised me. I thought everyone loved clean bed sheets. I was mine twice a week. I wash my blankets and comforters once a week.
I love the feel of freshly washed sheets next to my body when I go to bed. I think I sleep better on clean sheets and blankets.
We have allergies and I just cant imagine not keeping them clean.

I try to wash all of my bedding at least once a week. I would love to wash them twice a week but I already do two and three loads of laundry each day and that uses alot of water and laundry detergent. Money is kind of tight these days here and the sewer and water bill is outragious. I love the fresh smell of a nice clean bed though. I wish I could do it more often.

My new HE washer only uses 13 gallon of water for a large load of clothes. I love it. It really cut down on our water, sewer and power bill. I was amazed.

That is great. I am always doing laundry every day. Our utility bills kill us every month. I am always washing rugs and curtains also. I wish our water and sewer wasn't so expensive. We also wash our car and truck and fill up our pool in the summer and top it off if it becomes low. Always something LOL.

I have about 20 pairs of bed sheets and 10 different comforters and countless pillow cases so I only wash my sheets about once a month but I change my bed sheets every week. More depending on how much action my sheets are seeing that particular week.

I usually wash my bed sheets once a week. I feel that once a week is sufficient. I change my pillow covers more frequently though. That is good that you clean your sheets regularly and sleep better under fresh sheets and pillows. I should probably get some more sheets as that could help me sleep better.

I wash my sheets at least once a week; I would say it averages out about 6 times a month. I love having clean sheets and pillow cases. There is a certain feel to them that can't be beat when crawling into bed at night.

I definitely agree with washing sheets twice a week. I sleep better with clean sheets. I can't imagine sleeping on sheets that haven't been washed in over a week!
I also changing bed sheets twice a week would help with allergies as well.

xD I clean mine once every 1-2 months. My allergies are terrible. (They tested me for 40 allergens and I came back with all 40). But still my sheets are not dirty and my allergies are not affected. But I will admit that it feels good to sleep it just washed bed sheets.

I wash our bed sheets about once every two weeks. I find that washing them every two weeks is plenty often enough. Our family takes our showers in the evenings, right near bedtime so we are very clean when we get into bed. If we showered in the mornings and went to bed without a shower, I might launder them more frequently. However, I agree with you about the feel of clean sheets! I do sleep better the first night of clean sheets...I love that feeling! I do wash our pillow cases every week and sometimes more often, as they get a lot of sweat and oil from our hair and that type of thing.

I only wash mine every two weeks in the winter. In the summer we wash them once a week. We wash the kids weekly or as needed. I think I could wash them more often. I love the smell , I just dont love the time spent on putting it all back together again when it is done.

Really got no idea. We have a househelp that changes those bedsheets. I only notice them when they have already been changed. I do ask them to have it changed when I feel that it's been there for long already..LOL!:) But seriously, it's being changed from time to time..

Neat and clean bed sheets make people sleep tight, so I clean them once a week. Im sure that no one will get a good dream on dirty sheets.

Once a week I do the sheets, but the blankets I only do every other week. I'm not sure why I got into that system but I love fresh sheets but don't want to wear out my blankets with washing too much.

It is actually common for families to change their bedsheets once a month and they consider themselves clean.
I change mine once a week and that's very good practice already. Unless your bed is in some construction site of course.:P

Hello dear village anne. As to how often the bed sheets are washed, it depends on how clean it is before it is cleaned in the automatic washing machine. It can be seen that you are a very clean-loving anne as to make the house nice and clean and tidy in the house. Please keep up, dear anne.

I agree, clean bedsheets are way more comfortable but... I find it so hard to spare the time to change the sheets more than twice a week because I often come home late and fall asleep on my bed immediately and over sleep. I even used a bed sheet for more than 3 weeks once because i didn't have the time to change them :) I'm such a mess.
