Windows Vista better......or Not

hey vista is much better if used in accordance to the hardware profile matched with service pack one out most of the issues are gone download service pack one from microsoft website and that will make the system much faster

Hey windows vista is for sure a better choice and if you wanna go for vista then do not go for basic edition as it have limited access to the features and will not help that much so go for vista premium and ultimate to use it better make sure ur computer is compatible have a minimum dual core processor and should have 2 gb of memory although 1 gb is prescribed by the computer manufacturers

i've got it on my laptop and it seems pretty good for me. I've not had no problems yet out of it.I recently had XP on my desktop,which i gave the desktop to my g/f when i bought this laptop.So,now,i'm use to the Vista. But the Vista has so many different things on it that i didn't see with the XP.especially the sidebar thingie. But i like itit it seems pretty good.

Ive been told that vista basic is pretty poor and vista premium streets ahead. I have vista premium and when I first used it I nearly had kittens! I think its briliant, especially the sidebar thingy so elequently put lol) and the cascade thingamebob on the desktop but Boys and Thier Toys! :)
