Friends, with a view to save the environment from polution i think the governments of the world should come forward to restrict consumption of fuels by private operators.a ration card may be issued to all customers limiting their consumption to the minimum.thereby we can save some oil for the future generations.what is your opinion, please say.thank you.

Yea. Most definitely. With the oil prices so high, people are also beginning to reduce their petrol usage. There aren't that much oil left in this world, if we do not use it wisely, our future generations will suffer.
Also, burning of fossil fuels result in global warming and pollution. This is very bad for our earth.

Unless new and renewable resources are found in the power sector, it is not possible to decrease the consumption level of petrol. It is going to be higher and higher as the days go by because of increase in population. Therefore, one can expect a fall in price of fuel only when our scientists come out with a invention of new and renewable power sources.
