Part-time job at a fastfood chain?

I was wondering to have a summer job at a local fastfood chain near the vicinity of my area, but I don't have any backgrounds or whatsoever information regarding such establishments. I would be grateful if anyone could share to me his experience having a part-time job at a fastfood chain, and was it fulfilling? What were the disadvantages and benefits?
I was hoping to get a brief but concise answer. I'd mark you the best response if you could satisfy my query. Thank you!

Well, I have never worked in a fast food restaurant, but I have employed a lot of people over the years. If you are keen to learn, enthusiastic and show commitment to the store and its brand then you will get on. The best way to find out is to go and meet the manager. If you impress them, then I would think that they'll give you the job. Good luck.
