i depends on what racket are you buying. If it is for Badminton, you should choose a racket that has a strong frame and Gut selection should be considered, but when it comes to tennis racket, it should be light weight and and the gut should be at least made from a polyester gut.

Are you are referring to table tennis, then you can experiment on its effects when you hit the ball. Most good players prefer the pips in rather than pips out. There are good and excellent racket in many sports store. You can choose from there. But I believe you have already an answer to your question since you enjoy the game!

That depends on how you play, each reacket or bat has diff character.. normally on the bat itself, it's printed on the surface what kind of playing that particular bat suits most.. the density of the bat could determine whether one should go for defensive or offensive, or combination of that..
On top of that, rubber also plays important part.. right combination of both bat and the rubber would produce a good result, depending on how well you play, regardless you're a pen holder or shake player..
I myself is a quite offensive player, so prefer bryce or moristo, which i use with cypress.. And above all, the total costs set the limit of your preference..

For me, I don't see any features in a racket as they are mostly the same. I pick a new racket by seeing it's coolness. You know, some designs are cooler than others. I don't but anything without a warranty though.
