I wrote this poem when I was in college for someone very special. I would love to hear your comments...
The Day I found you....
It takes a lot of words to let you know,
The things that have happened the day I found you.
I keep asking myself, what is this I feel?
Is it true, is it not, or is this real?
Believe it or not I've fallen for you.
Your face, your smile, such a lovely view.
Your voice so soft, I love to hear every night.
Your presence, I seek to see in my sight.
You are the princess the queen of my dreams!
The cold clear water that runs in the streams.
You've quenched my thirst that lingered long before.
The reason why, I wanted of you more.
I hope someday, somewhere, somehow,
We can be together to take a vow.
To live, love and share moments together,
and cherish this things forever.
As of now, all I can do is dream.
Knowing there, I will never scream
Hoping you will be there by my side.
To hold my hands and be my guide.
And don't ever forget that dreams do come true.
It may take long, that we will never know.
But I swear to you that all is true....
It all started the Day I Found you!

Associated content!!! Im soo glad to finally hear about a great poem posting sight that pays you money for the views because I posted a few of my poems on myspace before and my views were through the roof. So can you tell me how much you actually get paid for each view???? Someone please???

Oh I love it! You really have a flair for writing. Maybe you should submit this one on Associated Content. They don't pay an upfront payment for poems but, you get paid for page views. I submitted a poem to them and it's doing pretty well.

I'm glad you like it. I have heard about associated content but have not visited it yet. I will try to do so later on. I still have other old poems that I wrote before. Well, hopefully we could meet also there. Can you give me an idea how it is set up there? I could be your referred member if they have something to that effect. So just advise.

I am glad you appreciate it Joyce. Yes, I did share it to her as my way of courting and she said yes to me. Well that was when we were students back then. Not so serious relationship but it was good. We are friends till now. I have also made a poem for my wife when we were still lovers but its to long to share it here. Well, she did really love the poem, I guess, every girl would appreciate a poem made for her as long as it comes from the heart.

It is a good poem. The words rhyme with the others. I'm wondering did you say the poem to that "someone very special" person in your college days. If you did what was her reply.
