I have this situation very often now.
because night gives us nightmares.
Most of the nights i wake up fro sleep as i am afraid to sleep.
Now dad's health has made this situation more grave.
His biopsy report is due day after tommorrow and it seems I really don't know what to do.
\I wake up in sweat in night and starts parying for him then only.
Do you have this situation in life before?

Hi subha, I think you are worrying too much, it isn't good for your health. I understand that you are concerned about your dad, but your worry won't help him. You are a person who believes in God and in prayer. Do everything that you can for your dad, when bedtime comes, pray for him, then leave him and all your problems in the hands of your God. Everything will work out exactly as it should. Blessings.

maybe i feared the night when i was a kid. but ever since i started watching horror movies and loving them, i stopped being afraid of the night and the dark. i actually love the night because that's the time i can sleep and have a rest. and i prefer the dark when i'm sleeping because i really couldn't sleep if the lights are on. sometimes i still get scared at nights but that's only when i had a nightmare. but after a while i would calm myself and have a peaceful sleep. ^__^
i hope everything would be okay with your dad.

If the question is asked when I was school going boy, then I would have said said. I was living in a village, people would like to devils and demons then. Now we have come of age, know very well there is no truth in devils, demons, witch etc. We do not threaten children with these things any longer. So we do not fear anything when night comes.

I have never experienced such situations as making nightmares, waking up in the midnight,or even losing sleep, but I have heard of them. With significant exams coming, one of my classmates at university was so nervous that he was suffered at night. If this situation is really terrible, you'd better ask experts related for advice.

OK subha12, did you have a problem sleeping before knowing about your dad's situation?I would say while being concern about your dad's results is important, you are not helping the situation by making yourself sick by worrying,so here is what you might do,meditation, everyday day at the same time you clear your mind ,could be at the beginning or the end of the day ,for 20 mins or so.secondly, make a certain time of the day to think about your dad ,but shut off to stay healthy!

Well generally I was afraid of the night before when I was young. Its more because of the darkness. Now that I am a grown up, I like the night since it makes me relax most especially when there is silence. Well, I think your fear is caused by the condition of your father. Just be strong and I know everything will be fine. I pray and hope that everything will be fine. Do take care and be strong, don't worry about the night, remember that for the light to shine, there must be darkness. So just wait for tomorrow and I'm sure, the light will be shining brightly.

It only happens to me when I see a horor movie which was very scary in the night. Other than that I haven't feared anything in the night. I haven't had situations like that in my life.
