Do we realy treat our planet very badly?

Its not that we are not giving any thing vack to nature , Yes what we are giving is very less than, what we are getting. Due to increased needs we are converted green lands into towns , agricultural lands into industrial areas and thus removing forests and tres for our requirement of lands which is a selfish approach and some what poor show of our intrest towards earth. Though we are shouting about preserving plants and making urban forests but these are very little which we are returning to our mother earth.

I would agree to your statement, but not totally agree that we have the worse and uncaring for our earth as there are many people who are aware of the problems we have created and are doing their best to stop the degradation of our environment or at least making some actions to make amends to what we have done with our mother eath. For as long as there are people like these our one and only planet will survive. But I agree that there are many people around who are just greedy and doesn't care at all with what they do in our planet and that disgust me.

If people treated one another a bit better here on earth, I think the planet would survive on its own. Destruction starts at home and so does defense.

I think that it depends upon the person. I recycle, I don't throw my butts (cig) on the ground, I do use the trash cans that are provided. Everyone is different and we are all responsible for our own messes is the way I feel. Ainge

Of course we are not the worst as we plant trees or make the planet clean. But we are bad as we are destroying the planet and not helping it as much as we destroy it. We might be facing Ice Age in the next century.

Its not that we don't give anything back when we take something from others,just like you said,but we do contribute alot to nature.If it wasnt like that it would have been worse to have a life in this planet so called earth.I guess ur not aware of the programmes that many contries are running these days inorder to save our nature so that to make the environment balanced.
