It is definitely possible because your body has probably become dependent on it. My new years resolution was supposed to be to give up soda, but I just can't part with it at all so good for you.

Definitely possible!
It's most likely caffeine withdrawl. I don't think people can have an addictive withdrawl from something that's good for you so it's probably a good that you decided to stop or cut back.
Here are some of the symptoms of caffeine dependence:
1.Headache, the most common symptom, which affects at least of 50 percent of people in caffeine withdrawal
2.Fatigue or drowsiness
3."Unhappy" mood, depression, or irritability
4.Difficulty concentrating
5.Flu-like symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, muscle pain, and stiffness.
Here are some studies, research and surveys on the symptoms:

yea, i think you can handle it as long as you expose yourself to soda as little as possible. If you have to go past the soda iles in any retail store, then either run past it or try walking around it.
Im also trying to cut down on the sweets and stuff, but the damn b*****ds have put all the good stuff(candy) directly before you pay for your sh*t. Think ill just eat sweets and stuff on fridays from now on.
