Wow with all the publicity invovling his divorce to Stella, Paul McCartney was once again Fab, not with the Fab four, but fell in love all over agian. The lyrics to their songs were amazing. Absolute classics. How many of you got to watch and how did you feel. Ellie :D

It is interesting how getting your name in the media can boost or re-ignite your career.
McCartney has recieved a boost for his latest album as his name has been in the media in a positive light(everyone seems to favor him over his wife), so, no better time to release a new album. A user on Youtube also released his videos to his new songs ahead of the scheduled release of the actual song. Very clever. imo

Thank you for your response, yes he probably will need the proceeds of this album to pay her off! She has refused £50million. Thats seems a bit money grabbing to me, but just my opinion. The music of the Beatles is known worldwide and by young and old so I believe he thoroughly deserved this Lifetime Achievement Award disregarding anything personal that may have been going on. Totally agree with you re the media, they are a very powerful force and can make or break a person depending on the angle they run with. Ellie :D

Heather Mills imo has asked for way too much money and it would do the whole entertainment industry a favour if she was given a fair amount, but, not over the 50m she is asking. She apparently fired her laywers and represented herself in court and I don't know how that would have gone down. The Beatles have been know to keep a lot of claims/contracts confidential and many court cases over the years have been sealed with neither party allowed to reveal the outcome(as in the Apple Corp v Apple Music(Itunes), which was resolved, but, who knows what was agreed).
McCartney is a sneaky old fox and even if Mills got 100m, he would find a way to show that he doesn't have the money or that it is tied up in business and he will offer to pay it over x amount of years or he'll negoiate a lower amount "cash".
