Has anyone ever been offered a job to scam people online ??

I beleive that a website tried to " Hire" me as the middle man for scamming people. I cannot be 100 % sure, but my gut says most def. !
I applied for job as an online secetary with a " well known" company. They contacted me via email soon after. Come to find out, the people whom contacted me had nothing to do with this company at ALL. They sent me a manual on how to persuade people into forking over their credit card numbers by promising them a live 10 minute web cam show !!!!!!!???????
Is there a place where this kind of activty can be reported ? Sound like a scam to you ?? Please send me any input on this !!!!!!!!! Thank you

yes u are correct, they are lot of people do scam in online so wecan't stop such type of people. scam people are around the world. eventhough everyone getting same probelm, i will explain practical example one of my friend and i am looking for online data entry works, we got lot scam sites and we paid money we didnt get back money so its like that. d0 you know anything about data entry sites? thank you,

Most of the data entry sites are scam. The warning sign is if you are asked to pay money to get work, stay away from it. Employers are supposed to pay you, not the other way around.
As for the job as an on line secretary which entails to convince people to hand over their credit card number for something or other it is a sales job at best. Follow your gut instinct on this.

I have also been scammed many, many times with various online work scams. I have recieved checks and moneyorders from all sorts of fake people and companies. The funny thing is, that when you realize that they are only trying to scam you in one way or another, they act as if they are so offended and upset. I once received a check from a supposed company in Canada for about 45,000. When I found out that it was a fake I called the number to the people that sent it to me. They acted as if they were so shocked they even went as far as to call my bank and ask why there was a problem. Then lied to me about the things my bank had told them. After all that they even sent me another fake for over 50,000.
