We just started watching this cartoon series.
My little boy is so enamored...
We watch it on DVD so he kept asking me to repeat it over and over and over again.
He's even able to follow some of the conversations.
It's funny and its wonderful to see my little boy put so much attention to a show.
Have you any other shows which you can recommend for a 2 year old boy?
Dora and Blues Clues are out, he doesn't like em anymore... he just wants pablo, uniqua , tasha, tyrone and austin....

My daughter is almost 2 and she loves this show. I have to leave the room cause it drives me nuts. She also likes Little Einsteins, the doodlebops, and wonder pets. Ear plugs! The best invention for parents with small children!

Doodlebops are Disney. My little one watches Noggin all freakin morning during the week and then Disney on Saturday mornings so her brothers can watch Handy Manny.

Gush.. my daughter, turning 2 this October, loves Backyardigans sooo much! I even give her 10 copies of dvd (each with 2 episodes) and she want to see them over and over again and she even pay so much attention to it which keeps her wiggle her arms and shakes her hips and head, it pays me to do all household chores while she's inseparable on watching them. She even sings and dance like those cute little cuddlies (Uniqua, Tasha, Tyrone, Pablo and Austin)
I thank Nick Jr for that!
Others are Spongebob, Ice Age 1&2, Dora, Wonder Pets, Diego, Blues Clues among them which we (my husband) also include for her tv viewing! She's not much with other network like Disney and Cartoon Network.

My son is 2 also and he likes the backyardigans too. He's also into spongebob and blues clues, and diego. not so much dora anymore. sometimes he likes to watch yo gabba gabba. I hate that show myself but if he likes it than i'll let him watch it.

My son watches any program that comes on. Spongebob he likes. Sometimes it comes on, he says Spongebob loud & gets excited. He watches Backyardigans, Micky's Clubhouse, Yo Gabba Gabba, Fairy Odd Parents, Dora, Diego, Doodlebops, Little Einsteins, The Barnyard (series), Blues Clues. I don't pay attention to the shows. He turns the channel to Disney or Nick. He tries to say "Oh toodles," on Mickey's Clubhouse.

my daughter isn't a big fan of this show. she prefers little einsteins (also my favorite), dora, diego, wonder pets and mickey mouse clubhouse. she knows the songs in all the shows and she doesn't miss a beat when it comes to the dance steps. anotehr favorite of her as well is hi-5. in fact when hi-5 had a series of shows here in manila we came over and watched it. she enjoyed it so much that i had to get dvd copies of the show so she can watch it whenever she wants and doesn't have to get up so early to catch the show on cable.
happy mylotting!!! cheers!!!

my daughter prefers the previous members of hi-5 as well. i guess she's just used to seeing them than the younger newer members. other favorite shows o my daughter although in the teener category are icarly and drake and josh. she actually waits up for these two shows and really shows excitement during the opening spiels of both programs.
hopefully, my daughter picks up shows that are more on the intellectual side than just plain mindless programs. i'm not there to look after her and check on the programs she watches so i really prefer to pick up dvd copies of her favorite programs that i approve of so she can watch these programs in a whim.
happy mylotting. cheers!!!

How does he feel about Sagwa? Dragon Tales? Those are cute and none of the characters ever say or do anything inappropriate that you would not want your child to repeat.

Hi, he saw Dragon Tales once or twice, but it is not shown here in our country or if it is, I don't know what channel and I don't know what Sagwa is :) He liked Dragon Tales enough to keep him captivated while watching but he wasn't 'in to it' as he did with the backyardigans and now spongebob
