Oh I missed it! Darn. Is that why it is sooo bright out?

Usually it is darker when there is a lunar eclipse because the moon is blocked out.

It was very overcast earlier in the evening when I first tried to see the eclipse. Even last night when we saw the moon, it was cloudy, just not around the moon. Kinda creepy because that is the second night in a row that happened.

I heard them talking about it on t.v. and almost missed it. My hubby just happended to be out in the backyard burning our trash and he came in and told me to look. It was really cool. the sky was crystal clear so we were able to get a really good look at it.~D

That lunar eclipse was amazing! The skies over my city (London, Ontario) were clear that night, so viewing was easy.
It was only the second lunar eclipse I had ever viewed, and the last time was well over a decade ago when I lived in Toronto.
I even woke up my boys to watch some of this one, just so they could say they experienced it. I told them how the next one won't be for another 2 yrs, but even then, you can only see it if the sky is clear. And 2 yrs from now? Who knows what the weather will bring!

I just went out with my daughter and looked at it. I think that is the second time in my life that I have seen that. I need to show it to my husband when he gets up for work in a minute. I'm not sure if he has ever seen it either.
