Is a relationship like a cell phone contract? My bf and I were talking earlier today and we've had a running joke about it since we've been together. He told me that if I could put up with his nonsense for two years he would marry me, lol. That's not what this is about. I'm not worried about being married, in the least. But, in thinking about it now, it really IS like a contract, (at least for us) You get into a relationship (sign the contract) Get the boyfriend (the cute free phone) Buy gifts, go out on dates, etc. ( add all the fun extras that make you broke) Argue, kiss, and make up (insurance) And if all goes well, you get a ring or other promise symbol of choice (the new contract extension) What do you guys think? I just found this funny after truly thinking about it.
