Mylot upgraded? What did they do to my page?

I do not know what you all are actually complaining about, yes they updated things a little more, but it is not that much of a change. I have seen worse.

I was kinda shocked myself... and i thought that my old page was perfect to suit my needs here in mylot... this new thing is going to take a while to get used to... i am not complaining... change is always needed to say that something is improving... but i wish they warned us first... Well, i still love mylot... and i still plan to be active for quite some time... so for now... i will be patient...

I don't know how I will get back to my old customized profile. They have somehow made it more difficult and confusing for me. I am also disappointed that I can't get rid of the "my activity list". When you have found the solution please do share and I will appreciate it very much.

Change .. That is one thing you will find constant in your life my dear friend.. Nowadays i find every site is getting changed to look better and better.. Its the only way of surviving the competition i suppose..even i didnt like the way this site is arranged now..I mean the whole profile page seems to be cluttered.Earlier it was easier to find out the discussions and responses made to the discussions i have started.. Now its been put to the lower right end.. and the whole page is filled ..who commented on whose discussion ..thereby letting us to guess who responded to our discussion.. But anyway i feel the change is done for better purpose and i hope this site can come up with better upgrades in the near future. And Its just a matter of time you will get use to it.. May be we are finding it odd because its a long time since we saw a change in the outlook of the site..

I'm not sure if I like these changes. I got so use to how my profile looks and now everyone can see my activity. i find the new set up kind of strange.

Not a huge issue for me, as I don't really put any care into my myLot page; but I can understand where you're coming from. I think the upgrade, generally speaking, is a good thing... but it isn't appropriate for everyone. They really should have an option to switch it off when desired.

i have checked my profile page after reading this document of yours.But i do not find anything thats a problem for me. now the profile page is the same with some extra added feature. there are something that has been added. i can know my current activity. this upgrade is truly an upgrade i think.

I am with you on this matter. I was surprised that they suddenly changed the way my site was arranged. I with we could have the option to restore the way things are but there was no option but to accept the way things look like as it is. I hope they are doing something to correct this design.

Right. I don't like that it shows all of my activity there either. I liked it hidden. I cannot figure out alot of changes they make here but I just roll with the flow. I don't even have the gumption to even change my avatar. I hate trying to figure it all out again. I hope you can figure it out and make the changes that you like.

Hi...and thanks for offering your perception of the changes they made. Like you I logged on a couple of hours ago and saw the alert from Crash...and the changes they made. Like you I am not sure whether I like the changes either. I noticed other members were uncomfortable about showing where they have been and what they have been commenting on. They felt it could make it easier for stalkers to track them...although they can do that if they are so inclined with the former layout. So I am also adjusting...and most of us take awhile to figure out how we feel about things...and I guess there will be mixed reviews as there always are when things like this occur. Raia
