Yippeeee!
I'm ready for some new episodes for sure. I watch the re-runs when I catch them during the week, and I'm tired of watching the same shows.

Thanks for the reply. This is one of my favorite shows and one reason I enjoy television. Its always great to see who is guest starring next and big name stars enjoy coming to the show.

I've never been fanatical about any TV shows where I had to make sure I was home on a certain night or whatever, but if I were, Monk would be at the top of the list.
I don't go in much for silly/slapstick comedy that's an insult to my intelligence, but Monk is the perfect mix of comedy and drama. The writers really do a great job melding the two genres.

MONK is the best detective show since Columbo. I agree, Monk's character is the perfect mix of comdey and drama. I can't wait to see the new season!!

I enjoy watching reruns of Columbo. He had so many great guest stars. I really miss the Columbo Movies and wish we would still get a new one to still get a new look of Peter Falk. He is in a new movie, so is still working.

Oh, I am so happy. I love Monk!! Yeah, I like it because it is a clean show with nothing bad for children to watch.
Plus, I sometimes feel like a defective detective too!LOL

Awesome! How can they not renew this show??? I am really excited to see what they will come up with this season. I just love how these shows are so unique, not the typical run of the mill whodunits. Thanks for passing on the info.

Thanks for the reply. I am always glad to find other fans. We haven't seen the season finale for Season 6 yet, which I'm looking forward to Friday.

Yay, yay! I guess this means he didn't really die last week (I didn't think so anyway). I'm interested, though, in how they mind it look so realistic. This season really turned back up the quality of show, back to the quality of earlier seasons (again, yay!).

Don't know what season we are up to in the UK but great to know there is a lot more monk to watch.
