Hi there.
Yes it is neccessary to get baptized to get into Heaven. To back up this there if you want to make sure this is the truth then go to John 3:3-7, this will prove this. God does say that you do need baptism to get back to Him in Heaven.

Hi there.
Yes it does say exactly that because that is how we are to be baptized. I agree totally that we as Christians will to the end be debating this and other matters of religion so we just need to listen to one another and try and figure out for ourselves what it that is the right answer with God's Help.
Catch ya later.

I believe that Catholics believe that you must be baptized to enter heaven. But they also believe in purgatory where you go to wait for entry to heaven while your family and church members pray for your soul. After so much prayer and petition to God, you finally get in. None of that is in the bible.
Protestants believe that baptism is an expression of obedience. The bible tells us to believe and be baptised. It is a public expression of your personal faith. It is not a ticket into heaven.
Ithink that other denominations believe other things but I am not too knowledgeable on that. What I know is in the bible, not in any churches doctrine. And the bible teaches, believe and then be baptized.

I do agree with you. There are many denomination practicing many things. The Bible teaches us believe, repent and be baptized. We have to practice what God ( The Bible ) says, coz we are going to be judged according to the Bible and not by any man made laws or practices. The sooner every denomination realizes this the better. Have a nice day/

The Bible teaches us that we are saved by grace through faith. Ephesians 2:8
Your question seems to presupposed that Christians' ultimate place is heaven, and it is not. The ultimate place for Christians is new heaven and new earth. And it is not necessary. Because if it is necessary salvation will depend upon work. But baptism is a public proclammation that one has been saved, and so it is important to be baptised. But to be honest, I have problem putting the question in this fashion.
