Does anyone know why the audio is off timing when I upload to youTube? It is fine when I play it on my computer.

Are you sure that this happens when you upload it to YouTube? Or does it happen when you convert the file type to a lower quality so that it can go on YouTube? Try another file type. I've recently switched to using mpeg1 files. Previously I was using wmv files but they tended to reduce the sound quality and it was very noticeable on instruments like the violin.

The original file is about 40 minutes long and is a mpg file. The original is a bit choppy but the timing of the audio is ok. What I do to upload to youTube is to split the video. I use a freeware program called Easy video splitter and it works very good. When I play the video on my computer after I split it by songs the timing of the split file is fine too. Then when I uploaded it to youTube the timing was off. I don't convert the file at all both the original and spit file are mpg files.
