Renting Toys?

With 6 kids you can just guess that we are drowning in toys. Someone recently pointed out this site to me where you can actually rent toys. The concept is similar to services like Netflix, only you are renting a package of toys. You are allowed to borrow 4 to 6 toys at a time and shipping is included. The toys are sanitized after each use.
What do you think? Would you consider borrowing toys for your kids?

Well my children are grown, but I can still relate! (I also have a young granddaughter) Whether or not I would be willing to rent a package of toys from a website would depend upon the type of toys and the price. I would never rent toys such as stuffed animals, cloth dolls, or any toy with a surface that I could not sanitize myself upon receipt! I would conside renting larger toy items made of plastic such as Little Tykes art easel or sliding board or something of that nature. I could sanitize the toys myself to be certain that they were sanitized to my specifications! This is actually no different than allowing your child to play with toys in a daycare or church nursery or whatever. Toys in those areas are supposed to be sanitized daily and I'm sure as one can imagine, there are some sites which comply with this requirement and there are others that don't!

No i'm sorry i would not do that. They can just say they're cleaning the toys but they didn't and my kids could get sick. I rather be on the safe side and buy the toys for my kids and then i could clean it for them. Then i know they are going to be safe. Yes it's hard to buy toys for them but you can always buy one new toy for each of them each month.
