My mom bought be a crok pot and I dont know what to do with it

Well, that's a crock LOL. First you need to learn how to cook. Actually, a crock pot is a good way to cook foods, mainly because you don't need to know how to cook, just throw everything in the pot and cook it. did it come with a recipe book? Just about any thing that you would fix in the oven you can fix in a crock pot. I have made complete meals in mine. This is especially nice if you are cooking for one. Put your potatoes in first leaving them whole. add the chicken then you could put in some dressing or stuffing in tinfoil. then on top of the apiece of squash. You can also make bread pudding, bake cakes and bread. There is no end to what you can do with a crock pot. Explore the net and you will be surprised at what is out there. You should also have gotten a recipe book with the pot on how to cook and care for the pot.

Yep I know there are all kinds of uses for crock pots, however I usually only use mine for parties and fixing chili and meatballs. I really should get it out and start using it for other things. That chicken and dumplings that someone mentioned here sounds pretty good too. Thanks for the reminder, I almost forgot I had one!

Just go to www.crockpot.com or any recipe website and search for crock pot recipes. They are great because they take like 8 hours to cook so you can turn it on, go to work, and when you get home it's ready.

I have made chilli in it, I cook roasts in it you put them on in the morning and let them cook all day and they are done. The stores even sell meals that are called crock pot meals that you dump in and let them cook all day long. Those are just few things you can do with a crockpot.
