Would you drink dirty water???

If you had a long distance to travel and there are no piped and treated water and you became so thirsty, and dehydrated and you found murky water, would you drink it.

Yes and No. It depended on what state of mind i were in. But more than likeley yes.

That's a tough one. Where I come from, Africa, has a lot more hstilities than this, so of course, that's nothing to waste time on. But the big question actually comes in if the fellow involved is new to that type of situation. this may sound unwise, but drinking that thing in the name of chances for survival could be perilious.

I NOW know i would life is to important not to try anything to live so i would drink dirty water or anything to stay alive

Yes ...by skimming off only the top of the water you should not get any muck from it..use your hands and gently skim a small amount and you will be able to drink it. If you are able to build some type of fire and have a metal container if you skim the top of the water with the contatiner and boil the water it should be ok as then you have sanitised the water...but If you are traveling take extra water with you and matches and a small metal contanier to use if you run out of water.

if you knew you had a long distance to travel you should be carrying some of those sachets which you can add to water to purify it
