When I first learned how to blog, I made one and wrote an article. Then I looked and looked at it and I was quite satisfied. Then I thought I should write again and not on the same topic because that would be boring. So, I made another blog, and I saw that it was good and I found that I had more things to talk about. So I ended up with a lot of blogs on a lot of topics.

I have 2 that I can barely keep up with. One is on myspace, and the other is my personal blog for my humanitarian funding.

This might be a late response, but whatever. I currently have four blogs. They're each about different things, and I thought putting them together in one big blog would create a jumbled mess.

I have 2 blogs.
The first one is a blog about my family farm, and the things we are doing and learning on the farm. I really enjoy talking about our animals and our projects on the farm
The second one is a blog about being unemployed. I was recently laid off, so I am using the site as a journal, so to speak, to talk about my experiences while being laid off.
I technically have a third anonymous blog - it's a site where I get things off my chest. It's not public, I just go there to vent sometimes.

I have two blogs...One personal and the other an enthusiast blog...
Just because a blogger has one blog doesn't necessary mean he/she need another....I think the main important thing is whether the blogger is trying to get people to come visit his/her blog or not...
If the answer is yes, then why have more than one blog when it is easier to maintain one than two? Also, quality is better than quantity as well..

Well here is something to think about! Me, personally would love to talk about finance in every little way, I even want to be a financial advisor type of person when I get a bit older and get through school and all of that. Why not have a blog about talking about finance? Now here's a kicker. I also love gaming & music, among other things obviously. Would you really want a blog that talks about finance to have one entry about finance, and then out of the blue start talking about gaming in the next days post? I think if you're sticking to one main area, then yeah. I actually hit multiple areas when it comes to blogs. I want to target the right audiences. I want the people that like finance-related things, to check out that while I want my gamer buddies to check out the gaming blog. I want an inbetween. I mean, if they like both then they can go back and forth inbetween the two. I think it's better to seperate them =D
Yeah, if you seperate too much it gets kind of silly but I mean as a basic. I think if your topics differ as much as mine, it would be better to have them individual :P
Or at least some individual breakdown in your blog and not all jumbled up together! =D
I hope that explanation is clear..

Currently, I have one blog. Its on blogger.com Why not have more? Don't know haven't really thought about it. I suppose if and when I have more to say on another topic, I'll start another. Guess out of habit I like to finish one thing before I start another.

I suppose so but is there ever truely a point where you can "finish" your blog? Isn't it a constant work in progress? I suppose maybe by finish you mean when you run out of ideas, orrr possibly when you get your layout and how you want things to go all set up?

I've only got one at the moment and I'm too lazy to keep that going most days. I'd like to have a few more but it does take up a bit of time and I'm finding it difficult to keep up with everything else at the moment.
There is also the problem of thinking what to write and even when you do then a bit of research is needed as well. It can get a bit too much like work to be enjoyable any more.

Well, a blog in as good of a definition as I can think of is basically typing up about a certain interest you have, whether it be finance, gaming, music, whatever. You basically type it up into a little section of whatever the blog service you're using is on a daily basis, and people read it and comment back on it, and etc. Check out uh, I don't know. Blogger.com is a fairly simple one if you don't understand my definition.:)

I have 4 blogs online. I wanted to have only one but I got invitations from a few of my friends to start a blog in this so and so site and I couldn't refuse. I kept it to 4 only, all of them have the same contents of course although I did not start writing in all of them at the same period.

I have a blog that's about the various free ways to make money online and the link is on my profile.
I guess I could have more than one but the topics I have tried previously have not been as interesting, this topic is ever evolving and keeps me interested.
