First let me say it has nothing to do with your age. I am 27 years old and have a two year old and he is in that stage and it is very irratiating. I love my son very than life it self but boy can he be a hand full. It does get better it did with my oldest.

Dear Luckyash, it so happens when the kids are in their 2s and 3s. At this age they really want their mom to do every other thing for them. They are not less independent, but are in the process of learning. When two kids are toiling around I know how difficult it is. But have more patience till they turn 5 and you keep helping them while teaching and they will learn fast as they both are around the same age.

Well unfortunately being a young parent doesn't come with an idiots guide to dealing with children. I am 20 and in between work, being a full time college student, as well as mommy to my 11 month old. It seems like I just get overloaded sometimes. But what you should understand is they are still babies basically. You will notice when they get around 4 or 5 they can do more without you. Mommy is the important figure in their lives right now. Develop educational activities that can keep them occupied for a little while. I look at is as inspiration. But never forget to take that time out for yourself. Even if it means waiting till the kiddies are sleep to take a long hot bath and relax. Don't forget about you.
