Making money reading emails

Has anyone made money reading emails? There are a lot of places that say they will pay you a lot of money for reading emails but the minimum payout it very high and I am wondering if these places are genuine or just another con. Have you actually been paid large amounts for reading emails?

I love MyPoints! Its totally effortless and yes, you don't have to buy anything to earn the points (I haven't either).
I usually save up my points and use them to get gift cards just before Christmas.

if they say they pay you $100 or more for one mail, they are definately scam.
real paying site will pay no more than $0.01 per mail, and there're many good sites, and the payout is not high.
if you want to make some extra money (but not a lot) by joining these sites, you can check my profile and visit my blog through my website link. you can find some really good sites there. I've been paid many times by them.
but you should know that you won't earn a lot of money. anyone claiming that you can earn hundreds or thousands of dollars are scam.
