The other morning my hubby woke up to our boxer dog barking ( I guess he was lonely) so he layed down on the couch with the dog to keep him company.
Suddenly our cat raced into the living room on one of his tangents, and jumped onto my computer desk, he grabbed the calculator with his mouth and brought it down to the floor by the entertainment stand. He then jumped on our table (which he's usually not allowed to do) and grabed a pen and took it back to where he left the calculator! Okay maybe to the cat, it was just all in fun but to my hubby it looked like kitty was making some kind of calculation LMAO!
Has your cats ever done something that makes sense to you but not to them? If so tell me about it, I find these topics very interesting and entertaining :)

Or was he trying to work out his calorie intake for the day lol?
It's less than a week since my cat Sooty left to go to the Bridge over the Rainbow ( beautiful poem in a discussion I did at the time) but I am left filled with memories of all the things he got up to in the 18 years he was with me. It's amazing what they can get up to.

You're right! It is amazing what age they can reach. My first cat we owned was a suprise when I was 10yrs old. I woke up in the morning and my dad put this little puffball of cuteness on my pillow and I fell in love at first sight! I became so attached to that cat. He lived through almost 2 decades till he passed away at the old cat age of 16. We think our neighbor poisoned him. It's also fasinating about how they like to go to their favorite places when they are going to die. Awwwwe I miss him. I had so many names for that cat too.. His original name was tiger, and then I changed it to Barnie then Barnaby.. don't ask.. all my cats had weird names and they're all nuts too. My second cat's name was little man and it suited him b/c he was black and had some white where his chest was so it looked like he was wearing a tuxedo. Then there was Little diddle darlin.. and that's exactly what he is... now he's at my moms b/c my younger brother adopted him when I moved out of there. So now I have a new one in my life and his name is Itty bitty Kitty.. but I call him Itty Bitz for short and he knows his name lol.
