It seems like a very small question but can be very thought provoking.
I truly look at life with the cup half full. But it honestly took a lot of time, good and bad to get to this point.
I have learned to appreciate so much more and not take others for granted. I am 45 and think this comes through life experiences.
Would love to hear what others feel about this question.

I'm a pessimist by nature...and obviously I look at the cup being half empty...
Sure I appreciate the good things in life, but life itself is full of suffering....People only care about themselves...They don't care about others..
Sure, you can think about other people who are not as blessed, but what are anyone doing anything about it?
And whatever we have, its never enough....whether its food or money...

Please know I am not judging you but seeing things your way seem really sad to me. I truly believe that generally people really do care about others. Through out life's difficulities I know I could not have done it without others caring and helping. I try to do the same for others if I see they need it and I can do something to help them.
Maybe you just have not been blessed with others helping and caring when you needed it?

I am a half-full person. I tend to look on the bright side of things, and try to find some good even in a bad situation. For instance, money is tight for our family, like many others, but at least we have a roof over our head, food to eat, and decent clothing. A lot of people aren't so blessed.

I am the same. I use to stress and worry about too much but that got old. And I think back of all the times we thought we were in a hopeless situation but somehow, we always made it through. Also, like you, I am one to always say others are dealing with much worse and we should feel blessed for all that we do have.
